Water Lens Experiment

OBJECTIVES:

To show the child how water magnifies objects. To broaden the child’s general knowledge. To make the child aware of the properties of water.

AGE:

3 years plus

MATERIALS:

A piece of paper laminated with a word printed on it. Dropper bottle Water Drying cloth

EXTENSION:

Fill a glass up with water. Take a pen or pencil and place it in the water and watch the object enlarge as it is placed in the water.
